Gio joined BayBoston in 2026. In his role as an Associate, Gio is responsible for sourcing, underwriting, and providing ongoing support for BayBoston’s investments and funds. Gio brings a wealth of knowledge and experience at the intersection of investments, capital markets, corporate finance and economic development, particularly relating to Puerto Rico. Before joining BayBoston, Gio began his career in commercial banking at Oriental Bank in Puerto Rico and public finance investment banking at Bank of America in New York. Gio is a graduate of Wake Forest University, where he obtained a bachelor’s degree with concentrations in economics, global trade & commerce, and politics & international affairs.
